Sunglasses

Every pair here blocks the full UV400 range — that is the part that actually protects your eyes, and it has nothing to do with how dark the lens looks. All four can be made with your power fitted in.

Straight advice

Choosing sunglasses that actually protect

Dark does not mean safe

A dark lens without UV protection is worse than no sunglasses — your pupils open wider behind it and let more UV in. Check for the UV400 mark. Every pair we sell carries it.

Polarized vs plain tint

Polarized cuts reflected glare from roads and water; a plain tint only dims everything. If you drive a lot, polarized is worth the extra.

You can put your power in them

Nearly every frame on this page can be made with your prescription tinted into the lens, so you are not choosing between seeing and shading.
